Birthday Update
TiredHad a lovely day though unfortunately there was a bit of school work to do, but still managed to have a very nice dinner with the family who all took the time to come out and celebrate with me which was very much appreciated.
In other news I'm insanely busy which is why I haven't visited dA in so long, and I do miss it too
Loads of assignments due and a big party to plan for the weekend so I am frantic to try and get everything done in time. Wish me luck!I wish I had time to check out everyone's beautiful artwork and to update my gallery but it's just not in the cards at the moment. I did get a picture of mine into a magazine though. It was for a design comp and you can see the picture up here: [link]
Mine is on the 2nd line, 3rd across. It didn't win but did get a mention as a notable entry, which is still pretty exctiting.
Anyway, hope everyone is doing well and I can't wait until dA and I can catch up for some quality time together :3

I'm going to try my hardest to get to your birthday on Sat night. I haven't really had time to organise a costume yet though :S My BF just had his work partner quit on him so he's pulling around a 70hr week and I'm not sure how motivated he'd be to come with me to a party after work on Sat. He's so stressed at the moment.
I LOVED the invite! It was amazingly well done! Smelled very strongly of maple syrup though??

Well I really hope you can come, it's going to be alot of fun I think. Don't worry about a costume- chuck on a black shirt and tie something round your head and it'll be fine, no need to put too much effort in it if you don't have the time
Glad you liked the invite, I put way more effort into it than I should have but it did a good job at getting people excited. What you're smelling is coffee (we attacked the good ship Nescafe sailing from South America with a supply of strange black beans, yarr!) everyone tells me how much their bags smell of it now
Sorry to hear your BF's in such strife, that can't bee too fun, but just tell him he needs to relax, or bring along a friend who is free that night- it'd be great to see ya tharrrr!
